1. ANNOUNCEMENT
I can’t believe I haven’t written a Woetogo newsletter since March! My only excuse – lots of things have been happening. For the past couple of years I have been head down building an online training company (The Corporate Tool-box) because over my 20+ years in the HR field I noticed two things:
When the economy is booming, organizations say they have no TIME to train their staff
When the economy is in recession, they say they have no DOLLAR!
So the aim of The Corporate Tool-box is to offer a cost-effective, downloadable range of great training products so no organization need ever say – we can’t afford to train our staff.
I am absolutely passionate about training. My belief is that training should actually be part of an organization’s strategic plan and should continue no matter what. As my old mate Zig Ziglar says – there’s only one thing worse than training your staff and having them leave, and that’s not training them and having them stay!
So even though my time is now spent mostly with online training, I have been in negotiation with another training company to join forces with Teams From Woe To Go so we can continue to offer a wide range of physical training programmes. So watch this space. Announcement due any second.
2. CONTEXT TARGETED 360o FEEDBACK – A FREE WEBINAR
Through The Corporate Tool-box, we are organizing short, sharp business webinars (online workshops) where each month I will feature a business/HR expert from somewhere around the globe. This month on 12th August at 10.30am (NZ time) we are featuring William Gresse, founder and CEO of Appraisal Smart Pty Ltd. (Aus).
