NEWSLETTER - JANUARY 2010

Happy New Year everyone

Thank goodness 2009 it over. What a year. The ‘R’ (recession) almost became a ‘D’ (depression), but it seems quick action staved off a global economic collapse. I’m not naive enough to believe we’re totally out of the woods, but the worst does seem to be over. Hopefully it will remind us of some good business (and personal) principles, like, don’t go over your head in debt, and if it sounds too good to invest in, then it’s probably best to walk away!

The good news is that the business ‘buzz’ is incredibly positive about 2010 – the human spirit is truly amazing. 2010 for me also seems to be the year of the Joint Venture; I have been invited to be part of some amazing workshops and seminars this year, and so in the spirit of optimism and positivity, here are the offerings for this month – some are FREE, others are seriously worth the investment:

This Month:

1. The Quick Business Quiz
2. FREE webinar: What Everyone Needs to Know about Making Money Online
3. E.commerce workshop:1.7 billion customers are waiting for you! Can they find you?
4. One Day Authorship and Publishing Seminar
5. Performance Management Workshop
6. FREE article - 10 Crucial Consumer Trends for 2010, From Mass Mingling To Maturialism

So if you can’t find something here to whet your 2010 appetite, then I’ll eat my hat.

1. The Quick Business Quiz
1. What number of Chinese men will find themselves without a bride by 2020 because of the one child law?
2. Which US car company is adding Twitter messages and internet radio to it’s in-car entertainment service?

4. What is a ‘Zomm’?
5. Where is the tallest building in the world

2. FREE Webinar:

What Everyone Needs to Know about Making Money Online
3 e.commerce specialists will help you get started with an online presence, because if you don’t have one, then over the next 5 years your business could be left behind. Even Fonterra is cashing in on the online world – sales on their internet-based trading platform Global Dairy Trade have reached US1b since it was launched in 2008! Why wouldn’t you want to know how that could work for your business?
