TESTIMONIALS

DEVELOPING LEADERS

Teams From Woe To Go was employed to work across our organisation of 500+ employees to pave the way for an intensive Performance Leadership programme. We knew the programme would be ineffectual unless the managers and teams were comfortable working through their own job related issues. It was important to have an external person to ensure that people were trained to be able to speak openly and honestly, and without fear of recrimination.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the Woe To Go process as highly influential, genuine and captivating.

I have had nothing but positive feedback about the sessions with my team. We have agreed as a senior management team, that the philosophies and practices of the Woe To Go system needs to be rolled out to every team at Powerco.
David Gibson
GM Powerco, New Plymouth

TEAM COACHING

I was amazed - 10 minutes into a one-hour presentation my employees were involved and inspired.
As a result of that one presentation we are ALL thinking differently. For the first time in my role as GM, my staff are taking personal responsibility for outcomes rather than waiting for me to chase things along. Thank you for showing us the difference between parent/child and adult/adult.
Coral Jonesse
General Manager, Dynamic Controls Ltd. Christchurch

The teams we identified for you to work with were those with significant conflict which was prohibiting them from  operating effectively. The teams ranged from isolated locations with small numbers of field staff, to larger urban centres where staff are predominantly office bound.
The Woe To Go process was able to identify the conflict and work through the issues in a positive and professional manner.  The training was also effective in creating a 'mindshift' and improving not only the way the teams work, but it also provided us with organisational information and tools to improve the region's management capacity and strategic focus.
Because of the effectiveness of the programme, the management team has decided to push the team effectiveness training out to other teams.

BUSINESS TEAMS

Incredible. The speed that my team got the message took my breath away (how did you do that?)
Peter O'Halloran
GM, Macpac Wilderness Equipment, Christchurch

This process challenges the way people view the world and is extremely influential in "harnessing" the change process to help people and organisations move forward as a unified team.
Carolyn Marriott
Employee Relations Manager, Bluebird Foods Ltd.

As a facilitator in helping our people focus on customer needs, your process was  excellent and there is no doubt that your work with our teams has been a major factor in our growth.

TEAM PERFORMANCE

The boys in our factory now have a self-belief that wasn't there before we worked with Teams from Woe To Go. Now they know that it is up to them how much they get, not only in their work career but in their personal lives too.
They now understand that they control their own team's success and ultimately the company's success.  They know it's okay to speak up; and we absolutely want them to participate in the decision making for their team.  Most importantly, they are now not afraid to tell fellow team members when they are not contributing positively.
My team was great before - now they are awesome.
Mandy Sinclair
Director and Financial Controller
Wilco Precast Concrete

I had some very positive feedback about the way you delivered the two day training workshop with our staff. You made the participants feel that they could contribute in a safe training environment.
The group of people you had for the training were a very diverse group each with different backgrounds and needs. From all accounts you were able to exceed their needs and turn some initial negativity from the group into positiveness. Well done.

I have used a variety of coaches and facilitators over the eight years that my senior management team was together, and we had experienced mixed results.
I am pleased to say that Teams From Woe To Go exceeded our expectations in all areas. The team session had practical learnings and was outcome-focused. And follow up sessions were made to ensure the outcomes we wanted were achieved.

On behalf of the boys and management team of St. Kentigern College first fifteen rugby squad, we wish to thank you for the enormous contribution to our training camp. It is not easy to motivate boys of this age, particularly at the end of a long day.
The boys of their own free will, reconvened as a team on Wednesday night and agreed to their team goals and even developed a mission statement. Many thanks.
Tim Connolly
Team Manager

TEAM CONFLICT

Just when we thought there was no hope you found some.  Every member of the team thanks you for that.  We were all miserable but didn't know what to do to fix things.
Senior Manager

FRANCHISING

Ann's experience as a franchisor was enlightening for us all. She provided an informative and powerful message to our franchisees during training week. The feedback from our franchisees was extremely positive and they are keen to hear her speak again.
Kaye Lindsay
Franchisee Director, Distribution International

Having a dream is one thing, growing an organisation from zero to millions is another.  In today's competitive business environment, I believe people are our greatest asset and therefore great people systems are an essential ingredient.  Carl and his team have filled this role with a level of professionalism few attain.  Without their input we would not be where we are today.
Nigel Debenham
Managing Director, Digital Arena
